Assembly Passes CIGA Surcharge Bill, Senate OKs MPN Changes

The Assembly unanimously passed a bill intended to simplify the assessment procedures for the California Insurance Guarantee Association while the Senate gave its unanimous approval to a measure that would delete the authorization to use certain treatment guidelines for medical provider network independent medical reviews.
