Voc Rehab Hearing Slated for March 27 in L.A.

Division of Workers' Compensation Acting Court Administrator Mark Kahn will conduct a hearing March 27 in downtown Los Angeles about a motion to consolidate a substantial number of vocational rehabilitation issues involving Labor Code section 139.5. Kahn, who is also the Presiding Judge of the Van Nuys Workers' Compensation Appeals Board office, recently sent notices to attorneys about the hearing, which will feature discussions about whether to consolidate issues from thousands of cases involving the statute.
