The Governing Committee for the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau will discuss the annual pure premium rate filing during a meeting Wednesday in Oakland.
Committee members will review recommendations from the WCIRB’s Actuarial Committee regarding methodologies for calculating the advisory pure premium rate. The WCIRB said it anticipates filing the Jan. 1, 2020, recommendation during the third week of August.
The Actuarial Committee met Thursday in Oakland to formulate its recommendations for the filing.
