Labor and management representatives are asking the California Division of Workers’ Compensation to remove language from proposed changes to the Copy Service Fee Schedule that would require parties to promise under penalty of perjury that requests for copy services are submitted for legitimate reasons. Applicants’ attorneys and copy shop representatives say the provision would be an unnecessary burden that would increase costly friction, while employer and carrier representatives say the proposed rule has no teeth and won't stop those who are hoping to slip through the cracks ...
