Alaska’s Workers’ Compensation Board is holding a hearing Jan. 10 on a package of proposed rules as part of its normally scheduled meeting.
Proposed rules deal with filing documents, hearing procedures, fee schedules and the second independent medical evaluation process. Other rules clarify how compensation can be offset, change procedures for reporting compensation, clarify controversion notice procedures and remove the regulatory definition of “employee status.”
The Workers’ Compensation Board will discuss the proposed rules from 10:15-11:15 a.m. Jan...
