MEMIC Hires Organizational Development Director and Production Underwriter

The MEMIC Group appointed Kathleen Kerr as director of organizational development and training, and Ted Lieberman as production underwriter.

Kerr has 25 years of experience working with national government agencies and nonprofit organizations, MEMIC said in a statement. She has past experience working in information technology at Martin’s Point Health Care. She was also a change management consultant at Abilis Solutions Corp.

Kerr has earned her associate certified coach and project management professional designations. She also earned a computer information systems degree from Strayer University.
 
Lieberman as production underwriter will support continued growth in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets.
 
Prior to joining MEMIC, Lieberman worked in underwriting at Zurich North America in Philadelphia, and on the agency side at Hugh Wood Inc. and Insurance Office of America. He graduated from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, as a double major in business administration and communications with a minor in marketing. He earned his property and casualty license and is working on completing his associate in risk management designation.
