Nevada hearing officers meet performance goals for scheduling hearings, giving notice to parties and rendering decisions more than 99% of the time, according to an annual report by the Department of Administration's Hearings Division.In workers' compensation cases, hearing officers are required to schedule a hearing within five days of receiving an appeal and set a hearing date within 30 days of receipt.
