The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a Florida roofing contractor for exposing employees to fall hazards at a work site in Sunrise, Florida.
Crown Roofing LLC, of Pompano Beach, faces the maximum allowable penalty of $129,336 in connection with the citations issued Friday.
OSHA cited the company for allegedly allowing employees to install roofing materials without the use of a fall protection system. The agency initiated the inspection as part of the Regional Emphasis Program on Falls in Construction.
