The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration fined a Florida entertainment company $109,375 for violations it says contributed to a December 2022 explosion that killed four workers and sent a fifth worker to the hospital.
OSHA said Magic in the Sky Florida LLC failed to follow established safety protocols as a team of its workers were readying fireworks for a show. Federal investigators said an ignition sparked a fire and explosions in a storage facility, trapping the five workers inside.
