Former D.C. United Player Namoff Drops Suit Stemming from 2009 Concussion

Former D.C. United defender Bryan Namoff’s civil suit against the MLS soccer club for his career-ending concussion sustained in 2009 was barred by a judge, and Namoff dropped his complaint altogether, according to the Washington Post. The suit claimed negligence by D.C. United, former coach Tom Soehn, athletic trainer Brian Goodstein, team doctor Christopher Annunziata and Commonwealth Orthopedics for failing to properly treat the concussion.
