New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham reappointed Sonya Carrasco-Trujillo to a five-year term as a judge for the Workers’ Compensation Administration.
Carrasco-Trujillo was initially appointed to a one-year term in June 2023.
Before her appointment, Carrasco-Trujillo was general counsel for the state Department of Military Affairs.
She also served as public policy adviser and deputy chief of staff for former Lt. Gov. Diane Denish, deputy director of legislative affairs for former Gov. Bill Richardson and assistant general counsel for the Department of Public Safety.
