Agent Convicted of Fraud Sentenced to Five Years

The Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation announced that an insurance agent convicted of fraud was sentenced to five years in state prison. Jeffrey Alan Reichel, 66, was also ordered at a sentencing hearing Wednesday to perform 160 hours of community service and pay a $5,000 fine. A Walton County jury in October found Reichel guilty of fraud and forgery. The SBWC said its Enforcement Division opened an investigation into Reichel based on complaints it received in 2018.
