The Kentucky Department of Workers' Claims reduced reimbursement for injured worker travel between Jan. 1 and March 31 to 39 cents per mile from 40 cents per mile.
The reimbursement rate is calculated using the American Automobile Association Daily Fuel Gauge Report for Kentucky. Injured workers are reimbursed at the same rate as state workers who use personal vehicles for work-related travel.
Mileage reimbursement rates are updated quarterly.
