OSHA Fines 3 Companies $147K Total for Fall Protection Hazards

Three Ohio companies violated workplace safety standards this summer by exposing workers to 60-foot falls at a Columbus work site, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced Wednesday. Temporary employment agency Construction Labor Contractors had placed six workers at the site — a commercial construction project soon to be a technology building — on July 12.
