High medical costs and the prevalence of attorney involvement are just two challenges some states will need to address in coming years, according to Richard A. Victor, executive director of the Workers Compensation Research Institute.
Other challenges that lie ahead include an aging population, federal health care reform and political polarization, Victor said in WCRI's 2015 annual report, published Tuesday.
