Unions, Doctors Calling for Legislation to Allow Group Comp Plans

A group representing New Jersey unions, doctors and claimants' attorneys is asking lawmakers to allow group health insurance trusts created through collective-bargaining agreements to expand into workers' compensation. Senate 2447, filed last October by Senate Labor Committee Chairman Fred Madden Jr., and Assembly 4132, filed by Deputy Assembly Majority Leader Thomas G.
