Regional Study: L.A. Basin Numbers Down, But Area Continues to Lead in Claim Frequency

The more things change in California’s workers’ compensation system, the more they stay the same. That appears to be the case, at least according to the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau’s sixth annual Geo Study, which once again found that indemnity claim frequency remains significantly higher in the Los Angeles basin than in the rest of the state, about one-third above average.
