The Workers’ Compensation Section of Nevada’s Department of Industrial Relations announced that legislation enacted in June eliminates the requirement for carriers and third-party administrators to submit permanent disability claim reports later this summer.
“SB 377 repealed NRS 616C.453, which required the Division of Industrial Relations to make annual payments to injured employees or their dependents who are permanently and totally disabled and who are not entitled to the annual increase in benefits pursuant to NRS 616C.473,” the agency said in a statement....
