Block Elected Comp Court Presiding Judge

The Nebraska Supreme Court approved the election of Dirk V. Block as presiding judge of the Workers’ Compensation Court. The comp court on Thursday announced that Block will serve a two-year term starting July 1 and concluding June 30, 2025. Block was elected at a June 23 meeting of the Nebraska Workers’ Compensation Court judges, and the election was affirmed by the state’s high court on Thursday.
