Applicants' attorneys remain concerned that the proposed home health care fee schedule will limit services available to injured workers despite the Division of Workers' Compensation's insistence that will not happen.
The concern stems from proposed regulations that would require home health care services be provided pursuant to the Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule. Applicants' attorneys say the MTUS does not provide guidance on services for catastrophically injured workers or the terminally ill, or include personal care and chore services.
