Fired County Worker Charged with Workers' Compensation Fraud

The Attorney General’s Office Thursday filed workers’ compensation fraud charges against a former Oklahoma County employee who claimed he injured his knee while on the job while hiding the fact it happened while playing football. Attorney General Scott Pruitt, in a press release, said an investigation by the Social Security and Insurance Fraud Unit revealed Jason Matthew Fitch of Oklahoma City was injured playing football for a local semi-professional team, a fact he concealed from two doctors in order to change the outcome of his workers’ compensation claim.
