Employers in Washington state would be required to continue paying health insurance premiums for injured workers, under bills introduced in the Senate and House of Representatives.
HB 2372 and its identical companion measure, SB 6067, would require that injured workers receive "100% of the employer's payment or contribution for health care benefits, unless the employer continues ongoing and current payment or contributions for these benefits at the same level as provided at the time of injury."
The value of payments for health care benefits would not count toward indemnity...
