No Public Hearing Requested on Expert Medical Adviser Rules

No public hearing will be held on rules proposed by the Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation to allow workers’ compensation judges to appoint temporary expert medical advisers because none was requested, the division said Monday. The DWC had set aside a time slot for 10 a.m. today for a hearing to be held on the proposed change to Rule 69L-30 if any member of the public requested a hearing, but none did.  The DWC is proposing changes to Rules 69L-30.002, 69L-30.003, 69L-30.004, 69L-30.006, 69L-30.007 and 69L-30.010 in response to passage of House Bill 613 last year...
