Almost two years after the New York Workers' Compensation Board approved rules to allow law students and interns to represent injured workers in medical-only claims, the program has gone nowhere, leaving many workers to represent themselves.
The board has not given up on the idea, though, and hopes to launch “comp clinics” with law schools next year.
