BWC Board Meeting Canceled Because of Coronavirus

The board of directors for the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation has canceled its meetings today and Friday because of the growing concerns about the spread of the coronavirus.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine issued an order earlier this week prohibiting all in-state, non-mission-critical travel for state employees due to COVID-19, which has afflicted at least four people in the state.

The board had set committee meetings for today and a full board meeting for Friday. The next full board meeting is scheduled for April 24, the BWC said in a bulletin.
