Admitted fraudster Michael D. Drobot is asking the 2nd District Court of Appeal to reconsider whether he should have been allowed to proceed with his defamation claims against three California law firms.
Drobot, former owner of Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, sought $60 million in damages from Kabateck, Brown and Kellner, Cotchett Pitre & McCarthy, and Knox Ricksen.
These firms are behind lawsuits alleging Drobot conspired with physicians to implant counterfeit spinal hardware in patients undergoing surgery at Pacific Hospital.
