The Idaho Industrial Commission adopted emergency rules that delay until November an electronic data interchange update that was slated for July 1.
The emergency rules push back until Nov. 4 the date by which carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured employers must start submitting claims data using EDI Claims Release 3.0.
The commission said in a statement that it decided to delay the update after system users said they wanted more time for testing and implementation.
