Administrative Assessment Rate Will Rise Slightly, to 2.77%

The administrative fund assessment rate for insurers will rise slightly for fiscal 2019, which begins July 1, the Maine Workers' Compensation Board announced this week.

The assessment for insurance companies was set at 2.77%, up from 2.75% for fiscal 2018, and up from 2.46% the year before, the board said. 

Assessment letters for insurers and self-insured employers will be mailed shortly and payments are due by June 8.
