The U.S. Department of Justice announced that a Long Island chiropractor agreed to pay $290,197 to resolve civil allegations that he submitted false claims to the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs for services he never provided to injured federal workers.
Gary Stein, of Levittown, from March 6, 2014, through April 14, 2019, used billing codes to indicate that he conducted detailed medical examinations on injured U.S. Postal Service workers that he never performed, the DOJ said in a statement.
