The South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission will accept written comments on its updated medical fee schedule and provider manual through Wednesday, the commission said in a bulletin.
A hearing will be held Feb. 10 on the changes, which were recommended by nonprofit medical data organization FAIR Health. The group examined medical call data and payment amounts provided by the National Council on Compensation Insurance, along with other information, to update billing codes and maximum allowable payment amounts.
