A federal judge allowed the Illinois Public Risk Fund to proceed with a lawsuit accusing more than 30 drug manufacturers and individuals of negligent and fraudulent conduct relating to opioids.
U.S. District Judge Matthew F. Kennelly on Monday signed an order granting the fund’s motion to remand the case to the Circuit Court of Cook County.
