Roofing Co. Owner Arrested for Failure to Cover Workers

A roofing contractor who owes $131,000 in unpaid workers' compensation premiums faces criminal charges for once again failing to provide coverage for his workers, the Washington state Department of Labor & Industries said Thursday. The state Attorney General's Office has charged Peter Daniel Yeaman, 55, with unregistered contracting and doing business while his workers' compensation coverage was revoked, a felony. Yeaman faces a penalty of up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted, L&I said. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Kitsap County Superior Court ...
