Claimants' lawyers and doctors are pushing back against Kentucky's planned adoption of medical treatment guidelines, arguing that the restrictions could exacerbate a doctor and attorney shortage in the state.
At a public hearing Thursday, two attorneys said the proposed treatment guidelines, based in large part on the Official Disability Guidelines published by MCG Health, should be amended to encourage more practitioners.
