The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health is proposing a study of employers insured by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation to assess the effectiveness and cost-benefit of workplace wellness programs.
The study will also aim to identify the effect of integrating wellness programs with traditional workplace safety and health programs, according to a notice published May 4 in the Federal Register.
