Key Risk, a subsidiary of the workers' compensation carrier W.R. Berkley Co., has raised $50,000 for Kids' Chance chapters in six states.
The money will go to chapters of the nonprofit in Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia, according to a Wednesday press release. Kids' Chance provides scholarships for the education of the children of workers who have died or been catastrophically injured on the job.
