Orthopedic Academy Releases Carpal Tunnel Performance Standards

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons approved performance measures for treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome that payers could use to help rate provider quality. Performance measures for carpal tunnel the AAOS board approved last month discourage the routine use of occupational or physical therapy after carpal tunnel surgery.
