Legislative Pushback on Court Rulings Finds Traction in House

New Mexico state lawmakers busied themselves Wednesday working to undo a trio of court decisions that favored workers but potentially increased system costs. The House of Representatives passed a bill that would allow workers' compensation judges to reduce indemnity benefits owed to a worker whose intoxication contributed to an accident.
