The New York Workers' Compensation Board adopted emergency changes to its telemedicine rules, clarifying and superseding previous rules on billing codes and modifiers.
The regulations allow telemedicine in emergency and other situations to encourage social distancing during the pandemic, and they provide new codes for a range of services.
