Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin stood by the state’s controversial workers’ compensation reforms during remarks in her State of the State address.
Senate Bill 1062, which Fallin signed in 2013, laid out Oklahoma’s transition from a judicial adjudication system to an administrative system, with the Workers’ Compensation Commission opening its doors last February. Legacy claims are handled in the old Workers’ Compensation Court, which is now known as the Court of Existing Claims.
