Manufacturer Faces $44,800 in Fines

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is proposing $44,800 in fines against an Illinois manufacturing plant for exposing workers to electrical shocks, hazardous chemicals and dust. OSHA issued citations for 11 serious and two other-than-serious violations to Bigston Corp. of Elk Grove Village.
