Court Overturns Denial of Second Injury Fund Benefits for Airline Mechanic

The Missouri Court of Appeals overturned a denial of Second Injury Fund benefits to a long-time aircraft mechanic with a multitude of injuries. James Eckardt spent over 40 years working as an aircraft mechanic. Eckardt injured his right knee while working in March 1998. He injured his left knee at work in September 2001.
