A Florida lawmaker on Wednesday proposed that workers’ comp claim data filed with the state should no longer include an injured worker’s name and address, so that attorneys can’t access the information and use it as a list of potential new clients. The comments from Rep. David Santiago, R-Deltona, came during a panel discussion of workers’ compensation issues hosted by the House Insurance and Banking Subcommittee.
