Roofer Fined $47K for Most Common OSHA Violation

Yet another roofing contractor has been hit with tens of thousands of dollars in federal fines for allegedly failing to protect its workers from falls while working on high surfaces. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is proposing $47,000 in fines against A&W Roofing, a contractor based in the northeastern Ohio town of Middlefield, according to a Tuesday press release.
