The Oklahoma Legislature convenes today with 23 pre-session bills already drafted to propose changes to the workers’ compensation system, including one that would revive the so-called Oklahoma Option.
Another bill would repeal the option, formally known as the Employee Injury Benefit Act.
The option remains on the books but officially died in mid-January after a 90-day transition period following the state Supreme Court’s 7-2 ruling that it was unconstitutional.
