Task Force on Competition Sets June 23 Hearing as Deadline Nears

By Bill Kidd, Central Bureau ChiefThe Ohio Competitive Workers' Compensation Task Force – charged with considering whether the state should open up its monopoly workers’ compensation system to private carriers -- has set a meeting for June 23, one week before it is scheduled to produce a report for the General Assembly.  The meeting is set for 1 p.m. in Room 1960 on the 19th floor of the Riffe Building in Columbus.Sen.
