Poultry Plant Delivers 1-2 Punch of Injury Exposure, Poor Medical Management

Working conditions at a Delaware poultry processing plant deliver a one-two punch to workers, whose tasks expose them to musculoskeletal injuries that managers then discourage them from reporting.  A June inspection of Mountaire Farms in Selbyville revealed that workers on an assembly line perform repetitive manual labor involving "forceful motion for extended periods of time, and often in awkward positions," an Occupational Safety and Health Administration report reads.
