The committee that advises the California Division of Workers' Compensation on evidence-based changes to the prescription drug formulary will review pharmacy utilization data at its next meeting.
In addition to reviewing top therapeutic categories based on total payments, members of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee will discuss revisions to the unique identifier codes for certain medications.
The committee will also discuss whether to change the exempt or nonexempt status for some medications.
