The California Assembly unanimously passed a bill that would revise the medical-legal process by implementing templates that can be used for reports and requiring the Division of Workers’ Compensation to publish its annual review of med-legal reports.
At the same time, the Senate unanimously approved a bill that would create training requirements and new safety rules for the stone fabrication industry.
The Assembly on Monday voted 78-0 to pass AB 1293, by Assemblymember Greg Wallis, R-Bermuda Dunes, which would make several changes to the medical-legal process.
