Old Republic International Corp. has reported net income of $198 million for the second quarter, a 95% increase from $102 million in the prior-year quarter.
But for the first half of the year, net income was down 6%, to $202 million, compared to $215 million in the first half of 2017.
In the company’s General Insurance Group, net premiums earned were up 5% in the second quarter, to $808 million.
