The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division published temporary rules, effective Jan. 1, that it says will allow providers and carriers to use 2025 medical billing codes immediately.
The temporary rule adopts new medical billing codes and the 2025 Current Procedural Terminology codes published by the American Medical Association. The rules also adopt 2025 changes Medicare made to its Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System and the American Dental Association's 2025 dental procedure codes.
